Dr. V began his career in the ER, where the job was simple: give people a fighting chance against the odds. He later left medicine to build a primary care business, addressing the problems he had seen firsthand.

In 2016, Dr. V made his way to Lightspeed Venture Partners, where, over nearly a decade as an early-stage investor and General Partner, he backed companies such as Glean, Innovaccer, Zetwerk, and BlueMachines AI.

In 2025, he launched ODDBIRD on a simple conviction: transformative ideas rarely announce themselves plainly. The fund has already helped bring more than a dozen such ideas to life.
